Garment Preparation
To ensure the best results and accurate service, please follow these guidelines when bringing garments to our Chicago location:
- Clean garments thoroughly before bringing them in for alterations or repairs
- Remove all personal items from pockets and compartments
- Bring garments on hangers when possible to prevent additional wrinkles
- Have clear instructions about desired alterations or specific problem areas
- Bring reference garments if you want matching fit or style
What We Accept
All Fabric Types
Cotton, wool, silk, polyester, blends, denim, and specialty fabrics.
Formal Wear
Wedding dresses, suits, evening gowns, and special occasion attire.
Casual Clothing
Jeans, shirts, dresses, skirts, and everyday wear.
Outerwear
Coats, jackets, leather items, and seasonal clothing.
Service Timeline
Initial Consultation
Visit our location with your garment. We assess the work needed and provide an accurate quote and timeline. This typically takes 10-15 minutes.
Work Processing
Most alterations are completed within 3-5 business days. Repairs typically take 3-7 days depending on complexity. Custom tailoring requires 2-4 weeks.
Pickup Notification
We contact you when your garment is ready. Items are held for 30 days after completion. Extended storage may incur additional fees.
Payment Information
We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience:

- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit Cards
- Mobile Payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
Payment is due at the time of garment pickup. We require a deposit for custom tailoring projects exceeding $200.
Our Policies
Quality Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with the alteration or repair, bring it back within 7 days and we will make it right at no additional charge.
Unclaimed Items
Garments not picked up within 30 days of completion notification may be donated or disposed of. We are not responsible for unclaimed items after this period.
Damage Liability
While we take utmost care, some fabrics may have hidden weaknesses. We are not liable for damage to worn or delicate fabrics that fail during normal sewing processes.
